Died, in Madison county, Iowa, on the 6th of April, 1883, Mrs. Sarah E. Boyles, in the 27th year of her age.
Mrs. Boyles was the daughter of Geo. White, of Norwalk. She was born in Linn township, Warren county, Iowa, in the year 1856, and was married to her bereaved husband, Milton Boyles, Dec. 9th, 1877, with whom she moved to Madison county and remained there until removed by death.
Sarah White is a name familiar to many here. The name of one who has been known and respected from her earliest childhood. She was of a kind and cheerful disposition, casting rays of sunshine on all around her. She was followed to her last resting place in the Norwalk cemetery by a large concourse of weeping friends and neighbors, there to rest in quiet sleep until that day when all that are in their graves shall hear that voice that call Lazarus from the grave and restored him in his weeping friends. She died in a hope of glorious immortality and a happy greeting of friends in that laud where death is never known. A lonely home, a sorrow stricken husband and three little children to realize in all its fullness. What is a home without a mother!
