Our Chip-Basket

Col. John Busbee, one of the veterans of the Mexican war, was stricken down with paralysis one week ago last Friday. At the present writing he is a little better and is gaining slowly.

Just before going to press we learn that Col. Busby died Tuesday evening at 11 p.m. His funeral will be held at the residence of Mr. Delos Campbell on Thursday at 2 p.m.
