FUNERAL FRIDAY FOR VIVIAN STORRS

Funeral services for Vivian A. Storrs, a life-long resident of Madison County, were held last Friday afternoon from the Clark-Wilson Funeral home in Winterset.

Mrs. Storrs died Aug. 11 at Madison County Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. She was 68 years of age.

A daughter of Hugh and Sarah Eliza Shultz Addy, she was born Dec. 15, 1901.

She was married to Halden Storrs on May 21, 1926. His death occured seven years ago.

Mrs. Storrs was a retired telephone operator, and a member of the Hawkeye club.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. John Drake of Winterset, three grandchildren and one great grandchild; three sisters Mrs. Leona Duncan of Winterset, Mrs. Celia Ballard of El Paso, Texas, and Mrs. Luneta Baker of Winterset; and one brother, Wyman Addy of Winterset.

Officiating at the service last Friday was the Rev. Newton Coughenour. Burial was in the Winterset cemetery.
