From Lincoln Township

We are called to mourn on account of a departed friend, Mrs. Isaac Ruby, who died at her home quite suddenly on last Friday morning. She was very old and feeble and has been a resident of this county many years. She leaves many friends and an aged husband to mourn.

Mere Mention

We neglected last week to make mention of the death of Mrs. Isaac Ruby which occurred one week ago last Friday. It was rather sudden and altogether unexpected. She received a stroke something like paralysis on Thursday and died the following day. She was about 80 years of age and was one of the oldest residents of the county; was respected by all who knew her and her death is deeply felt by all neighbors and friends as well as by the bereaved family.

Note: Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
