Our Chip-Basket

James Bell, of Crawford, died last Sunday evening after a tedious sickness. He leaves a wife and seven children.

Note: Burial was made in the Blair Chapel cemetery.

In memory of:

James A. Bell was private in Company K, 10th Iowa Infantry. I have been unable to learn the particulars of military history further than that he enlisted December 16, 1861, and was mustered out December 24, 1864. He died about the 8th of August, 1880, leaving a wife and eight children.
