Douglas Developments

Uncle Robert Evans died at 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 26th. His remains were buried at the Baptist cemetery, northeast of Winterset on Sunday. Mr. Evans was an Old Settler, having come here from Indiana in June, 1852. He was an earnest Christian, honest in all his dealings and well respected by all his acquaintances. In him Douglas has lost one of her best citizens.
