Thursday, June 1, 1933MRS. W. B. FRITZ DIED SATURDAY
Well Known Local Woman, 63, Passed Away at Her Home Southwest of Earlham.
The death of Mrs. W. B. Fritz Saturday morning brought sorrow to many in this community who knew and loved her. Her illness was of but a few hours duration and her passing came as a distinct shock. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at two o’clock from the Dexter Lutheran Church, with the pastor, Rev. Kurt Daib officiating. Interment was in the Dexter cemetery.
Several relatives and friends from Earlham attended the services. Among those coming from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Fritz, Van Meter; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Fritz, Earlham; Mr. and Mrs. Otis Fritz, Waukee; Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Johnson and F. W. Beebe, Cambridge, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Beebe, Lewis, Iowa; W. S. Beebe, Wiota, Iowa; and Mr. and Mrs. William Shea and son, Blakesburg, Iowa.
The following brief biography was read. It eulogizes a life of devotion and service that was known and appreciated by hundreds of persons who were privileged to have the acquaintance of Mrs. Fritz:

She also leaves to mourn her passing two sisters, Mrs. Henry Willrich and Mrs. Robert Murphy, of Dexter, and three grandchildren.
At the age of 15 she was confirmed in the Lutheran church and was a very devout member until her death. She was a quiet, unassuming woman, always ready to lend a helping hand when there was need. Her family was her first consideration. She was an exemplary wife and mother and has left a vacant place which never can be filled. To know her was to love her.
