Last Sunday a good, though humble woman, Mrs. Charles Moore, of this city, crossed the dark river ahead of all of us. And we are quite sure we have not a reader incapable of sympathizing with the afflicted husband, poor Charlie, and with her motherless little boy, or incapable of rejoicing with the News that, spite of our own race prejudices here, she was not interrogated on the other side of the dark river, as to whether she was of a dark or a white skin, before taking a seat among the white robed throng around the great white throne.
