Dr. Hamilton, late of Patterson, recently went to St. Louis and while there took suddenly sick with spotted fever and died. His wife, who was at Patterson, was telegraphed to and she telegraphed for the body to be sent her. Not hearing further, Dr. Rawls went to St. Louis, secured his effects, raised the body and identified it. The authorities would not allow its removal at present.
