On last Wednesday morning abut 10 o’clock occurred the death of Lewis Harris, who has so long suffered from that dreaded disease, paralysis. He was first attacked by the disease about 18 months ago, and has been a constant sufferer since.

He had become reconciled to Christ and it was his wish to become a member of the Baptist church, but as his immersion was an impossibility the wish could not be gratified. He leaves a wife, father and sister to pursue the journey of life without him. Funeral services were conducted Thursday by the Rev. Peck.
