DIED

SINCLAIR - Five miles northeast of Winterset, of typhoid fever, Mary F. Sinclair, second daughter of J. F. and Mary Sinclair; was born Jan. 13, 1861, aged 16 years 10 months and 19 days.

A few days before she left us she gave evidence of her peace with God. The writer visited her Friday before her death. Her prospects were bright for heaven; in conversing with her she said she was not afraid to die; Jesus is so precious; Oh, I am so happy. On Saturday evening she said she would soon see her sister that had preceded her a few weeks.

The family and friends have a large community of sympathizing friends in their bereavement.
