LIVA A. FOREMAN DIED ON SUNDAY

Long-Time Resident of This Community Was 80 Years of Age

Mrs. Liva A. Foreman, a life-long resident of Madison county died Sunday Dec. 12 (1948) at her home in Winterset. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Foreman was the former Liva Ann Young, daughter of Jenkins and Sarah Young and was born east of Truro, Aug. 17, 1868. She was married to William Foreman, Oct. 13, 1890.

Most of Mrs. Foreman's life was spent in and around Winterset. The death of her husband occurred in 1916.

She had been a member of the Baptist church since girlhood.

Surviving are her four children, Mrs. Nettie Phelps of Hardesty, Okla., Walter and Frank Foreman of Winterset and Mrs. Marie Anderson of Lorimor. She also leaves a sister, Mrs. Francis Muselman of Truro; 10 grandchildren; a step-grandson; eight great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Richards Funeral home, in charge of the Rev. O. B. Davis. Burial was made in the Lorimor cemetery.
