DIED

BUCHANAN - On the morning of August 20th, at the residence of his grandfather, Mr. Wm. Compton, of Winterset, little Winnie E. Buchanan, son of Mr. George Buchanan, of Bridgeport, Illinois.

This little one had lived but six months and ten days in this world of disease and pain, and is now transplanted to the garden of a more genial clime to bloom perennially. "Suffer little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not." J.H.P.
