East Peru: After 5 months of suffering, the death angel came to the relief of Dr. P. N. Lilley in the early morning of March 24th. The funeral sermon was preached on the 25th at the M. E. Church after which interment was made in the Peru Cemetery.

On March 24th, occurred the death of Dr. P. R. Lilley, who had been a sufferer all winter from a complication of diseases. He died in full faith of the promises of God that a home was prepared for all those who love the Lord.

Funeral services at the M.E. church by his pastor Rev. W. W. Williams on Saturday morning after which his body was laid in the Peru cemetery.
