Little Ruth (Marie) Holmes of Truro died Saturday morning, February 6th, aged 1 year 6 months and 24 days. The funeral was held from the Christian church on Sunday morning and the remains were interred at the Hartman cemetery.

Little Ruth Holmes died Saturday morning, Feb. 6, 1904 aged 1 year, 6 months and 24 days. She was sick just a few days and all that tender and loving hands could do proved unavailing and death claimed her. The funeral was held from the Christian church Sunday morning, conducted by Rev. Burnham and the remains were interred at the Hartman cemetery. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of their many friends in this affliction. Little Ruth was a bright and lovely child, winning the affectionate regard of all who knew her.
