Our Chip Basket

Mrs. McCall, wife of J. R. McCall, who lives just southwest of town, died very suddenly during the night of July 3-4. She had been slightly ailing some days before, but just prior to her decease she had been in her usual health, and on July 3d did some washing and canned a quantity of fruit. She evidently died shortly after retiring in the evening, as, from appearance, she had not moved after lying down. The deceased was an exemplary woman, and her sudden death will be deeply regretted by her many friends. The bereaved family will have the sympathy of the community.
