Heart Attack Is Fatal to Winterset Carpenter While at Work
Clarence G. Clark, Winterset carpenter, suffered a fatal heart attack Tuesday, May 6, while at work on construction of a house in Winterset. He died shortly after being stricken. He was 38 years of age.
Mr. Clark was a lifelong resident of Madison county. He was born here July 17, 1913. He was married March 10, 1932 to Sophia Pritchard.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Donald Clark, who is serving in the U. S. navy; two brothers, Vern and Harvey Clark; and two sisters, Mrs. Louise Koehler and Mrs. Gladys McDonald.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home in charge of the Rev. Glenn Parrott, pastor of the Winterset Methodist church. Burial will be made in the McDonald cemetery.
