GERALD M. BENNETT DIES IN MINNESOTA

Gerald M. Bennett, former resident of Douglas township in this county, died Sept. 7 at the home of his son, Ray Bennett, at Motley, Minn., according to word received here this week.

Mr. Bennett was born here Sept. 15, 1876, a son of Andrew and Mary Bennett. He was married here, Oct. 29, 1897 to Anna E. Cramlet. They moved from here to Swift county, Minnesota in 1915. His wife and two children, Mary and Alvin, preceded him in death. He had been living at Motley since 1951.

He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Henselin of Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. Dave Iler of Motley; six sons, Ray Bennett of Motley, Clarence Bennett of Spokane, Wash., Gerald Bennett of Benson, Minn., and Clyde Warren and Walter Bennett, all of Mountain Iron, Minn.; 54 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and three brothers, A. L. Bennett and W. V. Bennett of Earlham and George Bennett of DeSoto.

Funeral services were held Sept. 15 at Benson, Minn., and burial made in the cemetery there.
