Funeral services for Clyde N. Yates, 70, of near St. Charles were held Tuesday afternoon from the Hamilton funeral home in Des Moines. Burial was in Woodland cemetery there.
Mr. Yates died of a heart attack at New Virginia last Friday Aug. 26.
Born in Des Moines he lived there most of his life and was employed by O'Dea Chevrolet Co. He lived near St. Charles the last 14 years.
Surviving are his wife, Iva; a brother, Burt of Des Moines; and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Tait of Anaheim, Calif.
