MRS. HARRY WILSON DIED SATURDAY

Former Winterset Woman Had Been Living in Des Moines

Mrs. Harry Wilson, most of whose life was spent in Winterset, died at the Iowa Lutheran hospital in Des Moines last Saturday. (d. 1-17-48) Death was caused by a cerebral hemmorhage, after seven weeks of illness. She was 65 years of age.

Mrs. Wilson was the former Estella M. Mills and was born at Winterset, Jan. 24, 1881. Her early life was spent in this community and she was married Sept. 16, 1903 to Harry Wilson. They lived in Winterset until 1928, when they moved to Des Moines, where her home had been since.

Surviving are her husband; a son, J. A. Wilson of Fairbault, Minn., a brother, Claude O. Mills of Winterset and three sisters, Mrs. Ella Hardy of Tempe, Ariz. and Mrs. Minnie Koehler and Mrs. Flossie Welch of Winterset.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the Lilly Funeral home in Des Moines with burial in the Glendale cemetery there.

Estella Wilson Services Today

Services for Mrs. Estella M. Wilson, 65, of 1000 1/2 Des Moines st., will be at 1:30 p. m. today in the Lilly Funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale cemetery.

A Des Moines resident 19 years, she died of a cerebral hemorrhage Saturday at Iowa Lutheran hospital after a seven-week illness.

Mrs. Wilson was a member of Union Park Methodist church and of the Eastern Star at Winterset.

Surviving are her husband, Harry; son, J. A. Wilson, Faribault, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Hardy, Tempe, Ariz., and Mrs. Minnie Koehler and Mrs. Flossie Welch, Winterset; one brother, Claude O. Mills, Winterset; and two grandchildren.
