MRS. MARY RANKIN DIED HERE WEDNESDAY

Mrs. Mary Rankin of Winterset died at Madison county Memorial hospital here early this Wednesday, Oct. 5, after an extended period of failing health. She was 80 years of age.

Mrs. Rankin was a well-known long-time resident here. She was the former Mary Bush. Her husband, the late O. L. Rankin, died in 1952.

She leaves four children, Wilbur and Frank Rankin of Winterset, Claire Rankin of Des Moines, and Mrs. Maude Tough of Winterset.

Funeral services will be held this Friday at 2 p.m. from the Richards Funeral home here.

(Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery)
