WILLIAM WISHMIER SERVICES NOV. 18

William E. Wishmier, life-long resident of Jefferson township and member of a pioneer family in that community, died Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Madison county Memorial hospital in Winterset. He had been in failing health since 1953.

Mr. Wishmier was the oldest son of Charles and Henrietta Wishmier. He was born in Jefferson township on Aug. 27, 1882. He spent his life in farming in that community. He was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran church there.

He was married in 1926 to Amanda Marquardt of Jefferson township, who survives him. He also leaves two brothers, Otto and Henry Wishmier, both of Van Meter; and three sisters, Mrs. Leona Marquardt and Mrs. Molly Clausen of Dexter, and Mrs. Otto Ziemann of Van Meter.

Funeral services were held Nov. 18 from the Trinity Lutheran church in Jefferson township, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. C. G. Meyer. Burial was made in the church cemetery there.
