SAM MCKINNEY
Norwalk

Sam A. McKinney, 90, of Norwalk died of pneumonia Friday at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. (d. 5-10-2002) Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Indianola Heights Christian Church in Des Moines of which he was a member. Burial will be at Blair Chapel cemetery in St. Charles.

Mr. McKinney was born in Madison county and had lived in Norwalk for more than 50 years. He had worked in the parts department of Gibbs-Cook Equipment Co. before retiring. He enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, yard work and following the Iowa Cubs.

Nieces and nephews survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Southtown Funeral Home in Des Moines.
