DEATH OF DELL LEACH

Walter Dell Leach, a former Winterset boy, died last Wednesday July 26th, in the Broadlawns hospital in Des Moines. He was 30 years of age.

Dell Leach was the son of Chas. and Neta Huss Leach. He was born in Winterset August 10th, 1902 and spent his boyhood and youth in this city, attending the local public schools. For most of the past eleven years he has been employed at the Iowa Spring and Body company in Des Moines.

On May 6th, 1930 he was married to Miss Emma Haake of Mason City.

The deceased is survived by his widow, a brother, Harry Leach of Des Moines, a sister, Mrs. Nada Griffith of Weldon, an uncle John Huss of Winterset, and four aunts, Mrs. P. G. Rollstin of Winterset, Mrs. N. D. Gordon of Indianola, Mrs. Emma Gordon of Huron, South Dakota and Mrs. F. G. Hockenberry of Doniphan, Nebraska.

FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN DES MOINES

Dell Leach, 30, former resident of Winterset, died at Broadlawns hospital in Des Moines July 26. He was the son of Charles and Neta Huss Leach and born here August 10, 1902. His boyhood was spent in Winterset where he attended school. Most of the last eleven years he had been employed in the Iowa Spring and Body company at Des Moines.

His marriage to Miss Emma Hanke of Mason City, the place may six, 1930. Surviving are his wife and brother Harry Leach of Des Moines; Mrs. Nada Griffith of Weldon; an uncle, John Huss of Winterset; and for aunts, Mrs. P. G. Rollstin of Winterset; Mrs. N. D. Gordon of Indianola; Mrs. Emma Gordon of Huron, South Dakota; and Mrs. F. G. Hockenberry of Doniphan, Nebraska.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2:30 in the Ramsey-Richards funeral home conducted by the Rev. W. C. Porter, pastor of the United Presbyterian church; burial was in the Winterset Cemetery.
