CHARLES ROSS DIES IN GREAT FALLS, MONT.

Charles A. Ross, former Madison county school teacher, died Friday April 12th, at his home in Great Falls, Mont., after an extended illness. Mr. Ross who was 65 years of age, had visited in Winterset and Madison county last year, and had many friends and distant relatives here.

He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Ross, pioneer family of Winterset, and was born here April 21, 1875. He attended the local schools and also taught in this county. He was married to Cora Lee and they were the parents of three children. They moved to Great Falls nineteen years ago, and Mrs. Ross died there.

He later remarried, and he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mayme Ross, and the three sons: Lee of Honolulu, Maurice of Kalispell and Harry of Polson. He also leaves two brothers, Walter Ross of Lorimor, Robert Ross of Des Moines, and a sister, Mrs. Glen Callison of Grand Junction, Colorado.

Mr. Ross was president and manager of the Northwest Equipment company of Great Falls.

His funeral services were held Monday, April 15 at the Central Christian church in Great Falls, and burial was in the Highland cemetery.

Mrs. Rebecca Docksteader Oakland, a neighbor of the Ross family in Great Falls, writes that his last illness had continued since in August, 1939. He was able to be up and around and he and Mrs. Ross went to California after the holidays.

Charles Ross Dies

Charles A. Ross, 65, 623 First avenue north, president and manager of the Northwest Equipment Co., died at his home Friday evening. The body is at the W. H. George chapel. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Charles Ross Funeral Will Be Held Monday

Funeral services for Charles A. Ross, 65, 623 First avenue north, president and manager of the Northwest Equipment Co., who died Friday evening at his home, will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Central Christian church. The Rev. Ross J. Allen will conduct the rites and burial will be in Highland cemetery. The body was at the W. H. George chapel.

Ross, who was born April 21, 1875, at Winterset, Ia., had lived in Great Falls for 19 years. He was a member of Euclid lodge No. 58, A. F. & A. M.

In addition to the widow Mrs. Mayme Ross, survivors are three sons, Lee of Honolulu, Maurice of Kalispell and Harry of Polson; two brothers, Walter and Robert of Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Glenn Collison of Grand Junction, Colo.
