Winterset, IowaHold rites for Byron Jesse
Graveside services were held this Monday morning for Byron L. Jesse, 63, a lifetime resident of Madison County. Mr. Jesse died at the Maple Lin Manor nursing home in Earlham on Friday, November 8.
Mr. Jesse was born in Madison County on December 9, 1910, the son of Joseph L. and Jennye Archer Jesse. His father was a veteran of the Spanish – American War, and the family lived for many years in South Township.
Mr. Jesse is survived by one brother, Eugene Jesse of San Jose, California.
Graveside rites were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 11 at the Blair Chapel Cemetery, with the Rev. H. E. Borum of the First Baptist Church of Winterset officiating.
