ROSS CORNMAN DIED MONDAY IN WINTERSET

Funeral Rites Were Held on Wednesday, Conducted by Rev. J. H. McNichols

Ross Cornman, a resident of Madison county since young manhood, died at his home in Winterset Monday. He had been in failing health for some time.

Mr. Cornman was 76 years of age at the time of his death. He was born in Rushville, Ill., on Dec. 5, 1863, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cornman. As a young man he came to Madison county, settling on a farm in Webster township.

In 1898 he was married at Greenfield to Sarah Allery. She died in 1913. On Dec. 30, 1922, he was married to Cora Pratt.

He is survived by his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Eva Haxton of Britt and Mrs. D. H. Howard of Pine City, Minn.

Funeral services were held this Wednesday from the Ramsey-Richards funeral home in Winterset, conducted by the Rev. J. R. McNichols, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
