Word was received here the first of the week, of the death of Mrs. Leonard Johnson, on Friday, October 17th at her home in Boxholm. Mrs. Johnson was formerly Miss Maud Green and was the eldest daughter of the late Frank Green. Her father was a general merchant at Peru for a number of years.
Mrs. Johnson would have been 49 years of age had she lived until December 31st. Her funeral services were held Sunday Octovber 19 at the Methodist church in Boxholm, and burial was made in the Boxholm cemetery.
