Mrs. Rebecca Eyerly Dies

Mrs. Rebecca Eyerly passed away Monday, November 1st at the home of her son, O. H. Eyerly at Hershey, Nebraska. She was 97 years, 8 months and 22 days of age at the time of her death. She was married to Daniel H. Eyerly in Washington county in 1861. He preceded her in death 12 years ago. They moved to Hershey, Nebraska in 1891. Three children survive her, Oliver of Hershey, Nebraska; Mrs. Whistler of LaGrange, Oregon and Mrs. Fannie Young of Winterset.

Death of G. H. Eyerly

Word was received here Monday of the death of Mrs. G. H. Eyerly the widow of the late G. H. Eyerly at her home in Hershey, Nebraska. Mrs. Eyerly, who was better known as Aunt Becky was about 78 years of age, and for the last seven years has been confined to her bed with paralysis. She leaves a son, O. H. Eyerly of Hershey and two daughters, Mrs. Eva Wissler of Orient and Mrs. Nannie Young of Webster township.

The Eyerly family formerly lived in the Shaffer neighborhood in Douglas township and moved to Nebraska 40 years ago. Mrs. Eyerly died Saturday, October 31st and burial was on Monday November 2.

Mrs. Young and her daughter Goldie were in Nebraska at the time of her mother's death. Mr. and Mrs. George Sawyer also drove out to attend the service.

OLDEST RESIDENT COUNTY IS DEAD

NORTH PLATTE, NEB., Nov. 2—(AP)—Mrs. Rebecca Eyerly, 97, the mother of County Commissioner O. H. Eyerly, died yesterday at the home of her son in Hershey. She was believed the oldest living resident of Lincoln county. Besides her son she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eva Wissler, Legrande, Colo., and Mrs. Nannie Young, Winterset, Ia. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at Hershey.

HERSHEY.—Funeral services will be held here Tuesday afternoon for Mrs. Rebecca Eyerly, who died Sunday at the home of her son here. At ninety-seven, she was believed the oldest living resident of Lincoln county. Besides her son, County Commissioner O. H. Eyerly, she leaves two daughters, Mrs. Eva. Wissler, Legrande, Colo., and Mrs. Nannie Young, Winterset, Iowa.
