W. R. TRIBBEY DIES

W. R. Tribbey, 90 year old resident, died Sunday morning at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Harrell (in Scott township)

Mr. Tribbey was a former resident of Gallatin, Mo., but had resided for the past two years at the Harrell home. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. L. Alexander and Mrs. Harrell.

SERVICES TUESDAY FOR W. R. TRIBEY

W. R. Tribey, 90, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Cleve Harrell, Sunday afternoon, February 20. Funeral services were held in Centery, Missouri on Tuesday afternoon at two p.m.

W. R. Tribey was born in 1853 in Gallatin, Missouri, and lived there all his life until two years ago when he came to Winterset to make his home with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Cleve Harrell. He was married to Emily Critten on February 20, 1873, and they were the parents of eight children.

Mr. Tribey died on his wife’s birthday and their wedding anniversary. He is survived by two daughters of Winterset, Mrs. C. L. Alexander and Mrs. Cleve Harrell; for other daughters, Mrs. Rosie Hester of Stockton, California; Mrs. Vivian Hagan of Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Will Foulton of Kansas City, Missouri; Mrs. Gladys Long of Oregon; three sons, Ross Tribey of Springfield, Illinois; and Ernest and Thurman of Gallatin.
