F. P. SHORB DIED LAST WEDNESDAY

Services were held Saturday from the Early Chapel Church of Christ for F. P. Shorb long-time resident of Madison county, whose death had occurred Wednesday, Dec. 15 at the age of 80 years. The Rev. William Dilsaver was in charge of the services.

For the last several years, Mr. Shorb had made his home with a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. S.Sprunger of Earlham. He had been in failing health since June 1954.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Sprunger of Earlham and Mrs. George S. Morris of Winterset; and four grandchildren.

Burial was made in the Jackson township cemetery.

Funeral Services For F. P. Shorb

Services were held Saturday afternoon, December 18th for F. P. Shorb, long time resident of Madison county. The services were conducted by Rev. Wm. Dilsaver, pastor of the church.

Mr. Shorb had been in failing health since June 1954. He was 80 years of age at the time of his death.

In 1913 he was married to Elsie Ford of Earlham. His wife and an infant daughter preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. W. S. Sprunger of Earlham with whom he had made his home for the last several years, and Mrs. George S. Morris of Winterset, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Early Chapel Church of Christ.

Interment was made in the Jackson township cemetery.
