Death of Mrs. Ida McDaniel

Mrs. Ida McDaniel a former resident of Winterset died at a hospital in Long Beach, Sunday, November 23rd. Mrs. McDaniel had fallen several weeks before her death and had broken her hip. She suffered intensly.

The deceased was a member of the Women’s relief corps and the First Baptist church and was an active worker of these organizations. Funeral services were held at the J. J. Mottell, Inc., funeral chapel, in Long Beach, Dr. Ralph Jensen officiating. The body was sent to Marietta, Ohio for burial.

Mrs. McDaniel is survived by a brother and sister, of Marietta, who were with her at the time of her death. She was 80 years of age at the time of her death. She left here about fifteen years ago, to make California her home.
