Services Held For Mrs. Savilla Eyerly

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Savilla Cutler Eyerly at the First Methodist Church in Earlham Monday afternoon, May 17th with burial in the Earlham cemetery. Rev. John Alexander was in charge of the services.

Mrs. Eyerly died at her home in Mason City, May 15th after being in ill health for several months.

Mr. and Mrs. Eyerly lived in Earlham for a number of years moving to Mason City about seven years ago to make their home. She is survived by her husband (Virgil) two children, a daughter Ruth and a son Roscoe, two grandsons and three brothers.

Mrs. Virgil Eyerly Funeral Here

Funeral services were held at the Earlham Methodist church Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock for Mrs. Virgil Eyerly. Rev. John Alexander conducted the services. Burial was in the Earlham cemetery.

The following appeared in the Mason City Globe-Gazette:

Saville Eyerly, 80, 123 1-2 Pennsylvania S.E., died early Saturday morning at a Mason City nursing home, following an illness. She had lived in Mason City about nine years.

Mrs. Eyerly was born November 25, 1873 in Madison county. She was married to Virgil E. Eyerly, February 1, 1893 at Des Moines. They farmed near Earlham until 1937 when they moved to Des Moines.

They came to Mason City in 1943 from Des Moines and had made her home here since that time. She was a member of the First Methodist church of Mason City.

Surviving are her husband; daughter, Mrs. T. W. McDonald, 512 14th S.E.; son, R. G. Eyerly, Lakeland, Florida; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren; and three brothers, C. L. and J. G. Cutler, Des Moines and Leonard Cutler, Sedalia, Missouri.
