Earl G. Cassady, Redfield

Earl Gordon Cassady, son of Howard and Fanny Cassady, was born in Dallas county, Iowa, Oct. 1, 1930 and died June 9 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines of a heart attack.

He was married to Bonnie N. Stonehocker on June 24, 1951, nine children were born to the couple.

Mr. Cassady attended school in Earlham and he lived and worked most of his life in Dallas and Madison counties. He was most recently employed at the Earlham Co-op Elevator for 23 years. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, a grandson and two nephews.

His survivors include wife Bonnie: six sons, Jimmy, Larry, Danny and Lessly of Redfield, Gary of Earlham, and Ricky of Des Moines; three daughters, Bonnie Kay Belew of Redfield, Betty Stahl of Earlham and Dolly Fullmer of LeClaire; two brothers, Wyman of Glendale, Ariz., and Elmer of Winterset; a sister, Daisy Patterson of Winterset and 19 grandchildren.

(Burial was made at Panther Creek cemetery, rural Dallas County, Iowa)
