Ill Health Had Marked Brief Span of Life for Young Man

Truro--(Special)--Charles LaVerne DeLong, 19-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. V. L. DeLong of Truro died at the home of his parents, June 6, after a long illness.

During the boy's brief life he had been in frail health. He was born in Clarke county, on July 1, 1918. With the exception of a few years in Colorado, his entire life was spent in and near Truro.

He is survived by his parents, his brother Lester, One sister, Kathryn, two grandmothers, one grandfather, and one great grandmother.

Funeral services were held at the home Wednesday, and burial was made in the Fields cemetery.

Prairie Grove

LaVern DeLong, oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Loy DeLong passed away at the home of his parent near Truro, June 6. Funeral services were held at their home Wednesday afternoon. Interment made in the Field cemetery.
