John McMichael, who has been an intense sufferer for a year past, died this morning at two a.m. About one year ago, he underwent an operation at Des Moines, but did not get the relief hoped for.

Mr. McMichael had been a resident of the county about 20 years.

He leaves four sons and two daughters all of whom live in Pennsylvania, except William, who lives at Detroit, Mich. He is also survived by one brother and one sister.

Burial will be at the Montpelier cemetery near Patterson, but the time has not yet been announced.
