Mrs. Rachel Cross Dies

Mrs. Rachel Ella Cross, aged Winterset resident, died here last Tuesday, August 18th at the age of 80 years. She was born near Van Wert, March 13, 1856 and was married to Levi Cross November 18, 1874.

Mrs. Cross is survived by four sons, four daughters, twenty-seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Her husband and a daughter have preceded her in death. Two aged brothers also survive her.

Her funeral services were conducted in Corydon, last Thursday by the Rev. Nelson, pastor of the Baptist church and burial was made in the Corydon cemetery.
