ANDREW EDGINGTON DIES

Andrew Edgington died at the home of his son, Ray, on Wednesday, February 7th, after an illness of several months. He was 75 years of age, and had been a resident of Grand River township for many years.

He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Merritt of Davenport, Mrs. Myrtle Kirkland of Macksburg, and Ray of Lorimor; 2 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Friday afternoon, at the Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Thompson of Lorimor, and burial was made in the Moon cemetery. The grandsons acted as pallbearers.

Andrew B. Edgington

Andrew Boyd Edgington, son of William and Lucinda Edgington, was born in Ohio, December 22, 1858 and departed this life February 7th, 1934, at the age of 75 years, one month and 17 days.

He was united in marriage to Nannie King in Grand River township, Madison county, Iowa; September 2, 1883.

To this union were born three children, Myrtle Kirkland of Macksburg, Ray Edgington of Lorimor and Blanche Merritt of Davenport.

His wife, one sister and three brothers preceded him in death.

He was converted at the age of 34 years and received the experience of holiness and lived in this faith until death. He united with the M. E. church at West branch, later transferring to the M. E. church at Lorimor.

He leaves to mourn his going the two daughters, one son, twelve grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
