Death of Donald Ridout

Donald Ridout, ten year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Ridout of Jackson township, died at his home Friday evening, October 15th, after an illness of several weeks. He had been in poor health, the past six weeks and had been in a Des Moines hospital receiving treatment. His parents took him home last week and he died there Friday.

Donald was the oldest of three children. He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Harold Lloyd and Gerald Wayne; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Ridout and Mrs. Mary Stephenson and a number of aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Ramsey Richards funeral home by the Rev. M. R. Talley and burial was made in the Winterset cemetery.
