Hester Lake Seevers, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ashford Lake, was born December 10, 1845 in Lincoln county, Ohio and died January 30, 1937 in Winterset, Iowa at the age of 91 years one month and twenty days.
She was united in marriage to Thomas J. Seevers February 14, 1866. To this union was born one son, Charles Alfred of Winterset.
She is survived by her son, three grandchildren, T. J. Seevers, Chas. Seevers and Mrs. Dorothy Western. Three great grandchildren, Charles Robert and Jack Arthur Western and Dorothy Lea Seevers. Besides immediate relatives, a host of friends survive.
Services were conducted by Rev. H. L. Olmstead, from Tidricks funeral home at 1:30 Monday, February 1st. Interment was made in the Winterset cemetery.
