BENJAMIN P. FOWLER DIES IN DES MOINES

Benjamin P. Fowler, formerly of Truro, died Nov. 5 at his home in Des Moines. He was 89 years of age.

Mr. Fowler was born in Rockport, Ill., April 15, 1869, a son of Bloomer and Rebecca Fowler. He was married July 9, 1893, to Agnes Griswold. His second marriage occurred Dec. 24, 1924, to Hattie Lilly, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, he leaves six children, Harry and Roy Fowler of Des Moines, Homer Fowler of Valley Ford, Wash., Gene Fowler of Lake City, Iowa, Mrs. Bess Hollingsworth of Des Moines, and Mrs. Nell Candy of St. Louis; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Nov. 8 from the Kale Funeral home at Truro, conducted by the Rev. Dale Lockhart of Truro. Burial was made in Hartman cemetery there.
