ROSS SERVICES HELD LAST FRIDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Ross of Macksburg were held Friday from the Macksburg Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. Clement Rowe and the Rev. Gerald Farley. Burial was made in Moon cemetery there.

Mrs. Ross’s death had occurred April 21 at University hospital in Iowa City. She was 75 years of age, and had lived 73 years of her life in this county.

She was born in Macksburg Jan. 10, 1884, a daughter of Wesley and Elizabeth Rowe Love. She was married at Macksburg Aug. 21, 1904, to John Ross, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

She leaves two daughters, Mrs. J. R. Iames of Wellman and Mrs. Elton King of Winterset; two sons, Russell Ross of Santa Maria, Calif.; and John Ross of Macksburg; six grandchildren; and two brothers, Clyde Love of Nitro, W. Va., and Clarence Love of Winterset.

Myrtle Ross, 75, Dies of Cancer

MACKSBURG—Mrs. Myrtle Ross, 75, of Winterset, died at the State University of Iowa hospitals at 8 p.m. Wednesday. She had been ill with cancer. She was a former resident of Macksburg.

Funeral services probably will be held Friday afternoon at the Macksburg Methodist church.

She is survived by two sons, John Ross of Macksburg and Russell Ross of Santa Maria, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Loraine Iames of Wellman and Mrs. Fern King of Winterset; and two brothers, Clarence Love of Winterset and Clyde Love of Nitro, W. Va.
