SYLVESTER EVANS OF OREGON PASSES

Leonard R. Moore of Winterset recently received a message from Corbet, Ore., advising him of the death of his brother-in-law, Sylvester Evans, at the age of 83 years.

Mr. Evans was born in Lincoln township of this county, on the farm now owned by Harry Burch. After his marriage to Marcella Moore they moved to Oregon where they had lived for many years.

He is survived by his wife, two sons and three daughters.
