Mrs. E. H. Low

Eunice Emeratta Hatch, daughter of Henry and Louise Hatch, was born in Winterset, October 25, 1864, and died at her home in Winterset, on February 14, 1930, at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 19 days. About four years ago she suffered a stroke of paralysis, from which she seemed to have recovered. The end came as the result of heart failure.

She was united in marriage to Ephraim H. Low on November 13, 1881. To this union 10 children were born, two of these having died in infancy. She was a faithful wife and a loving mother and helpful neighbor. Her hands helped to lift the loads of many friends. Her warm sympathies went out to those about her. Her life was linked with the Winterset Church of Christ in the year 1884. Her ideals of helpfulness and spirit of service were learned at the feet of the blessed Christ.

Those who survive her are: her husband, Ephraim H. Low; one brother, Marian Hatch, of Sheridan, Missouri; eight children, Harry, of Winterset; Julia Platt, of Orient; Henry, of Winterset; Edna Osborne, of Murray; Harvey, of Osceola; Josephine Henrichs, Williams, and Mamie Jacobe, of Winterset.
