MARGARET FINNEY DIES IN DES MOINES

Mrs. Margaret Finney, formerly of Winterset, died last Saturday, August 8 at Des Moines. Death resulted from a heart attack. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Finney was born near Van Meter. Her early life was spent in Madison county and Winterset. She had lived in Des Moines the last 25 years, and had been employed at a nursing home.

She was a member of the Church of Christ at Winterset.

Her only child, Paul Finney, preceded her in death. She leaves a brother, Lee Palmer of Van Meter, and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday in Des Moines, with burial in the Winterset cemetery.
