MRS. P. E. BANKS OF ST. CHARLES DIES

Mrs. P. E. Banks, a resident of St. Charles in recent years, died Tuesday, June 30, at a Winterset nursing home. She was 73 years of age.

Mrs. Banks leaves her husband, of St. Charles; three sons, Wayne Banks of Kenosha, Wisc., V. R. Banks of St. Charles and Harvey Banks of Fergus Falls, Minn.; five daughters, Mrs. Oscar Orehl of Clontarf, Minn., Mrs. Melvin Berg of Wild Rose, Wisc., Mrs. Glen Etsey of Des Moines, Mrs. Joe Burfala of Lynn, Mass., and Mrs. Robert Danerville of Des Moines; in addition to 25 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held July 3 at Blair Chapel, with burial in the cemetery there.
