Wednesday, April 11, 1945H. N. FOSTER DIED ON MONDAY IN CALIFORNIA
H. N. Foster, former resident of this community and father of Glen Foster of Winterset, died Monday at his home in Los Angeles, Calif. He was 79 years of age.
Mr. Foster was born in this county on July 30, 1865, and spent his early life here. He was married March 25, 1891, to Callie Dunlap, who survives him. They moved to California about 35 years ago.
In addition to his wife of Los Angeles, and a son Glen of Winterset, he leaves five children, Archie and Eugene Foster of San Luis Obispo, Calif., Charles Foster of Grant Pass, Ore., Mrs. Al Ginn and Frank Foster of Los Angeles.

Heber N. Foster, former resident of Madison county, died Monday, April 9, at his home in Los Angeles at the age of 79, after about three weeks’ illness. He was born in Madison county January 30, 1866.
He has been a member of the Masonic lodge here for 50 years.
On March 25, 1891 he was united in marriage to Caroline Dunlap of Winterset. To them were born five sons and one daughter.
Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Charles of Grants Pass, Oregon; Archie and Eugene of San Luis Obispo, California; Glenn of Winterset; and Frank and Mrs. A. Ginns of Los Angeles, California; two brothers, Asa Foster of Denver, Colorado; Darwin of Truro; and two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Whiteing and Mrs. Emma Hubble, both of Des Moines.
Word is not been received in regard to the funeral services but he will be buried in California.
