FORMER RESIDENT SUCCUMBS AT HARLAN

Mrs. George Cox, formerly of Winterset, died Dec. 28 at Harlan where she had been living in recent years. She was 80 years old.

Mrs. Cox was the former Emma Harrell, and she was born in Madison county, April 29, 1865.

She was a member of the Baptist church and the Rebekah lodge at Harlan. She is survived by one son.

Funeral services and burial were held at Harlan.
