GEORGE F. GUION DIED ON TUESDAY
Retired Railroad Clerk Had Lived in County Since 1943
George F. Guion, a resident of Madison county since 1943 died Tuesday, July 25, at his home in Scott township. He was 70 years of age.
Mr. Guion was employed as a railroad clerk during his active life, and had been retired in------.
He was born in St. Louis, Mo. on March 25, 1890, a son of Anton and Nancy Jane Perrigen Guion. He was married at St. Louis, in 1909 to Italia Seribacte, who survives him.
His church affiliation was with the Jehovah's Witnesses here.
In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Buckles, of St. Louis and Mrs. Margaret Tuttle of San Diego, Calif.; a son Robert Guion, of Winterset; 12 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services are pending at the Collins Funeral home. They will be conducted by Marvin ----. Burial will be made in the Winterset cemetery.
