Winterset, IowaFORMER SCHOOL TEACHER HERE DIES
Sarah Hillan, formerly of Madison county, died Friday, Nov. 11, in Des Moines, where she had lived the last 20 years.
Miss Hillan was born in this county May 12, 1875, a daughter of Mark and Eliza Ann Hillan. She served as a school teacher in this county for a number of years. She was a graduate of Winterset high school.
Funeral service were held Monday from Hamilton’s Funeral home in Des Moines. Burial was made in Glendale cemetery there.
